Washington Empowered Against Violence (WEAVE) is no longer providing services.
WEAVE's administrative offices will close by March 31, 2012. WEAVE's mission and its holistic and empowering model is no less important now than it has been in the past, but WEAVE has not been immune to the same challenges facing other non-profits in today's economic climate. These challenges have led to the difficult decision to close. We are grateful to our staff, volunteers, sister agencies, funders and government partners for all they have done over the years to support our work. Above all, we are indebted to our clients, survivors who empowered themselves with formidable grace and determination. It was a privilege to be a small part of their personal journeys.
